Job DescriptionPosition Overview\nSteelPeak Tax Consulting is a dynamic and fast-growing firm that partners with high-net-worth individuals and businesses to deliver comprehensive tax and strategic planning solutions.\n\nWe’re seeking a licensed tax professional who thrives in a multifaceted role combining client communication, analysis, proposal development, and operational support.\n\nAs a Senior Tax Consultant, Tax Strategy, you’ll play a key role in client engagements — from preparing proposals and reviewing financial data, to assisting with tax analysis and day-to-day operations within the Tax Consulting group. This position is ideal for someone who understands the language of taxation and business, and enjoys turning complex information into actionable, client-focused strategies.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Prepare and manage client proposals, engagement letters, and strategy outlines.\n Support daily operations and administrative workflows within the Tax Consulting group.\n Review and interpret onboarding client information — including tax returns, investment reports, and financial statements — to identify opportunities and ensure accurate integration into planning and strategy.\n Develop PowerPoint presentations and support materials for client meetings.\n Collaborate with advisors and strategists to integrate tax, entity, and investment planning.\n Implement approved tax strategies and related documentation.\n Contribute to marketing, educational content, and client resources.\n Stay current on tax law changes, planning strategies, and high-net-worth considerations.\n Prepare a wide range of tax returns, including individual, partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, gift, trust, and estate filings. CCH Axcess experience preferred.\n Accurately input and review prior-year returns, ensuring proper carryovers and consistency across filings.\n\n\nQualifications\n\n Active CPA or EA designation required\n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required\n 5+ years of tax experience\n Proven experience completing multiple seasons of tax preparation across individual, business, trust, and estate returns\n Ability to review and interpret client data, including tax returns, investment statements, and financials\n Proficiency in Excel for data organization and analysis\n Advanced PowerPoint skills for presentation design and storytelling\n Proficient in bookkeeping and accounting; QuickBooks or QBO preferred\n Entity formation experience required; paralegal experience is a plus\n Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills\n Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable with regular client-facing interactions\n Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment\n Curious and creative thinker who enjoys exploring advanced tax strategies and innovative solutions\n\n\nWhy Join SteelPeak?\n\n Collaborate with experienced tax strategists and advisors on advanced planning projects\n Gain exposure to complex client portfolios and multi-entity structures\n Work in a learning-driven, innovative culture that values professional growth and creativity\n Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000.
